About the Authors

Dr. Greg Kruger

Greg Kruger was born and raised in rural Ohio on the same farm his grandmother grew up on. Greg has spent his entire life around agriculture, studying agribusiness, plant pathology and weed science at the Ohio State University and Purdue University. During this time he developed a passion to see American agriculture be successful!

Today, he, his wife and his two kids reside in rural Nebraska. Greg is a Professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and works on helping transform the agriculture industry by evaluating and helping bring new technologies to the market. He has had the chance to enjoy many different facets of the agricultural world through his research.

Diane Kruger

Diane Kruger was born and raised in rural Ohio. She has never lived more than a mile from the house she grew up in. She is the wife of a farmer, daughter of a farmer and granddaughter of a farmer. Farming is a way of life. It is a good life, even while it is a challenging one!

Today, she and her husband Tom make a living as grain farmers. She also owns Nature’s Honey Tree and Sunny View Soap Co. They have two sons, her greatest joy in life is being a grandma to five amazing grandchildren!
